SMS Messaging Program
Last updated June 25, 2026
Vrrdict is a risk-intelligence and decision-support service operated by Cretum Inc., a Mini Parakeet, LLC company (“Vrrdict,” “we,” “us”). Vrrdict offers an optional SMS text-alert program that tells you when the verdict for an event you created changes, so you can act without watching a dashboard. This page describes how the program works, what it sends, and how to stop.
How you opt in
SMS alerts are off by default. You enable them yourself, from inside your account, through a two-step (double) opt-in:
- Sign in and open Settings → Verdict alerts.
- Set Channel to “SMS only” or “Email + SMS.”
- Enter your mobile number in E.164 format (for example, +15551234567).
- Tap Send code. We text a one-time verification code to that number.
- Enter the code to confirm. Verifying the number completes your opt-in and records your consent to receive the alerts described below.
The disclosure shown on that screen, at the moment you opt in, reads:
“By verifying your number you agree to receive automated verdict-change text alerts for your events. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”
The opt-in screen
This is the opt-in control exactly as it appears in Settings → Verdict alerts once you choose an SMS channel:
By verifying your number you agree to receive automated verdict-change text alerts for your events. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.
What we send
Messages on this program are strictly transactional — we never send marketing or promotional texts. You receive:
- Verdict-change alerts for events you created, sent when the verdict changes. For example:[Vrrdict] Spring Classic: now Delay (was Proceed). https://vrrdict.com/spring-classic
- A one-time verification code when you add or re-verify your number.
Frequency, cost, and how to stop
- Frequency. Varies. You receive a message only when one of your events’ verdicts changes, so volume depends on your own events and the weather.
- Cost. Vrrdict does not charge for alerts, but message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- Stop anytime. Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message to unsubscribe; reply HELP for help. You can also switch the channel back to “Email only” in Settings.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We use your mobile number only to send the alerts you opt in to. We never sell or share your phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties for their marketing. For full details, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
